This October full moon was stunning at sunrise earlier this month. Our friend Lucinda took a beautiful photo as she was headed to work and sent it on to me.
When you have a sun rising in the east and a moon setting in the west, and they coincide with a lovely grove of maple trees, it is majestic—simple—beautiful.
I framed this in a simple round-over pine frame, painted hunter green to augment the shadows at the base of these trees.
